Experienced Cleaning & Animal Care, LIVE-IN, country setting, Point Reyes, CA (west marin)
Looking for a person who loves country life, animals and daily detailed cleaning. Start March 14, 2015 or thereabouts.
Cleaning is of vacation rental cottages after guests have checked-out. Five days a week (days can vary from week to week), for 4 - 7 hours/day for an average of 30 hours per week, depending on the time of year (heavy in summer, light in winter) and day of week (often heavier on Friday and Sunday). Most days start at 11AM and sometimes an hour earlier. Cleaning ends by 4PM, often earlier. Also animal care as needed: chickens, cats and a dog. Experienced dog-walker/dog lover would be ideal as we have a very spirited dog. There is also light gardening (watering and weeding).
$11/hr + your own private living space: a 28ft trailer, fully equipped, WiFi, great heat, loads of hot water, private yard, deck, laundry room, parking. Also space for you to have your own vegetable garden if desired.
This is an ideal position for ONE person who wants to live in West Marin, pay no rent, no utilities and have $300+/week to perhaps supplement a night job or night school. You do need a car to live here. As for pets, we have plenty here so the ideal person has none.
The potential to earn more money would be if you have gardening/landscaping/building skills or skills related to innkeeping but this is not required. We just need someone who is a superb cleaner and loves animals and who is, of course, 100% reliable and pleasant to be around. So if that is you, please write to us: kelly@olemacottages.com
